I cant do it anymore

He went from my hero to nobody in a matter of days. I have just been told that Othello killed Desdemona because of his suspicion, i am aware it is not all his fault but he was willing to take a life for an inferior reason. This is the end of my life in Cyprus as well as this blog. I am requesting a transfer back to Venice to travel the world. Good bye.

Worst Day of My Life.

The final count is in, Four dead and one alive that should be dead. But the worst news of all is that one of the four dead was Othello. He didn't die with honor, he didn't die because of what he did, he died because of Iago. The only thing that left him with some honor is that I've been told he gave a speech claiming to be remembered as "One that loved not wisely, but too well. Of one not easily jealous, but being wrought, perplexed in the extreme. But what hurts the most is that he was not killed, he killed himself all because of Iago's manipulation of everyone on the island drove him to think of his wife as a cheater. And then Convinced him that killing is the way to go. both Othello's wife and Iago's wife are also dead wife both in a way because of Iago's manipulation but also because of Othello's jealousy.

First Major Job

Two men were rushed in to the hospital during my shift tonight. Both with possibly fatal wounds. Sadly the one with the worst stab wound (Roderigo) died almost instantly and as he died he mumbled "O damned Iago...You inhuman dog..." (5.1.64) The other that was wounded was also stabbed but will recover. It is complete chaos around here I heard shouting from across the street and there are people running all over the place. And whats more, we have been told to ready three more hospital rooms...

My suspicion of him was right

The one they call Honest Iago is not honest in the least. He manipulated the nurse's into letting him into the hospital were he climbed to the roof and stood watch over Cyprus. I new this guy was trouble and I just cant wait to see what he does next.

Boring strech

I haven't seen or heard anything interesting from anyone at work and the hospital except I did get to have a few brief conversations with Othello and his wife. Things seemed fine but Othello seemed distracted and kept saying things like "give me your hand, this hand is moist"(3.4.36)i worry something is wrong.

Confused?....

There's a guy that I've seen on the boat and on the island that really seems suspicious. People refer to him as "Honest Iago"(Othello)but I don't quite buy it. I've seen him whispering to a couple others around the island and I'm not quite sure how to feel about this, he also came to see Roderigo in the hospital and asked me to leave the room.

I Missed Him!

While assesing a patient named Roderigo with some small wounds, who seemed rather content with himself, I have been told that Othello is the one that relieved Cassio of his position! I missed him! I could have seen Othello and maybe even got word in with him, had I not left early, and had he been in the mood to talk. Feeling disappointed, I wont be spending to much time in my room anymore.

Suspicions confirmed, and then some...

I hear the quite whispers of the nurses around the hospital and from what I hear that man that had to much to drink last night was indeed Cassio, But whats more is that after I left he got into a dispute and ended up fighting multiple men, swords drawn. He claimed he would "Beat the knave into a twiggen bottle"(2.3.145) at another man named Roderigo. While there were no deaths Cassio has been relieved of his position and is pretty upset with himself. I don't know how he lost his job yet but I'm looking to find out.

Turks Have given up!

There wast a small party for the lack of arrival of the Turkish soldiers that I attended to try to talk to some of the big shots including Othello. But to my disappointment Othello desided to stay in with his wife and I was caught doing the same old small talk with the doctors of Cyprus. I noticed that there was one overly excited person that I assume was drunk that looked like Cassio but I wasnt sure. I decided to leave the party early for my first night on dry land. This does mean i wont be Working with wounded soldiers but I also will have more time to talk to Othello.

Yes! Finally Docked in Cyprus

Never have I realized how much I love being aground and not depending on a thin layer of wood to keep me afloat.

Still Havent Arrived

This boat will be the end of me and everyone else on this boat, the excitement has worn off and we are all just sick of these tight quarters and limited activities. Just please beach this boat so i can meet with the great Othello.

On the Road Again

While I am happy to be on the way to Cyprus, I am also disappinted that I dont get to spend the two to three week boat ride with Othello. He was put on the boat opposite of his newly wed wife to avoid any "trouble making." none the less I am overjoyed to be on the boat with some of the surgeons and and other doctors on that I will be working with on cyprus, and since I dont know whether i will be on Cyprus for a few days or a few years I will be spending the trip with the doctors and and surgeons trying to understand the way they work and function with eachother and trying to pick up on some techniques for myself so I may be able to start my own clinic. Something weird is going on on this boat though since it is full of alot of soldiers and war generals I believe it is so akward because everyone is wondering how this battle will turn out.

Rumors

I hear that Othello may be in some serious trouble with his new wife's father, Brabantio, for marrying without his consent. If so, he might not be going to Cyprus! If he doesn't go I will never be able to meet my hero!
I pray that these are just doctors office rumors but I fear they may be at least in part true...

On the Job Vacation?

I have recently been told I have been accepted to work with the doctors and surgeons on the the base at Cyprus. I couldn't even imagine I would ever have an opportunity to go on a boat to a base with such names as Othello and Cassio. I have no regrets other than I fear my little training will not be much help if the Turks happen to win the battles.
