I cant do it anymore
He went from my hero to nobody in a matter of days. I have just been told that Othello killed Desdemona because of his suspicion, i am aware it is not all his fault but he was willing to take a life for an inferior reason. This is the end of my life in Cyprus as well as this blog. I am requesting a transfer back to Venice to travel the world. Good bye.
Worst Day of My Life.
The final count is in, Four dead and one alive that should be dead. But the worst news of all is that one of the four dead was Othello. He didn't die with honor, he didn't die because of what he did, he died because of Iago. The only thing that left him with some honor is that I've been told he gave a speech claiming to be remembered as "One that loved not wisely, but too well.
Of one not easily jealous, but being wrought, perplexed in the extreme.
But what hurts the most is that he was not killed, he killed himself all because of Iago's manipulation of everyone on the island drove him to think of his wife as a cheater. And then Convinced him that killing is the way to go. both Othello's wife and Iago's wife are also dead wife both in a way because of Iago's manipulation but also because of Othello's jealousy.
First Major Job
Two men were rushed in to the hospital during my shift tonight. Both with possibly fatal wounds. Sadly the one with the worst stab wound (Roderigo) died almost instantly and as he died he mumbled "O damned Iago...You inhuman dog..." (5.1.64) The other that was wounded was also stabbed but will recover. It is complete chaos around here I heard shouting from across the street and there are people running all over the place. And whats more, we have been told to ready three more hospital rooms...
My suspicion of him was right
The one they call Honest Iago is not honest in the least. He manipulated the nurse's into letting him into the hospital were he climbed to the roof and stood watch over Cyprus. I new this guy was trouble and I just cant wait to see what he does next.
Boring strech
I haven't seen or heard anything interesting from anyone at work and the hospital except I did get to have a few brief conversations with Othello and his wife. Things seemed fine but Othello seemed distracted and kept saying things like "give me your hand, this hand is moist"(3.4.36)i worry something is wrong.
Confused?....
There's a guy that I've seen on the boat and on the island that really seems suspicious. People refer to him as "Honest Iago"(Othello)but I don't quite buy it. I've seen him whispering to a couple others around the island and I'm not quite sure how to feel about this, he also came to see Roderigo in the hospital and asked me to leave the room.
I Missed Him!
While assesing a patient named Roderigo with some small wounds, who seemed rather content with himself, I have been told that Othello is the one that relieved Cassio of his position! I missed him! I could have seen Othello and maybe even got word in with him, had I not left early, and had he been in the mood to talk. Feeling disappointed, I wont be spending to much time in my room anymore.
